Darin LaCoursiere is an accomplished telecommunications chief executive with more than 37 years of experience leading cooperative and ISP organizations through periods of growth, transformation, and cultural change. He brings deep expertise in board governance, enterprise performance, executive leadership development, financial management, organizational strategy, and mergers and acquisitions, with hands-on experience evaluating, structuring, approving, and integrating strategic transactions.
Most recently, Darin served as President and CEO of Endeavor Communications, where he led a full enterprise transformation that expanded revenues from $23 million to nearly $70 million, grew the workforce from 55 to over 180 employees, increased broadband adoption beyond 74%, and significantly strengthened financial performance through cost controls, capital planning, and operational discipline. Under his leadership, Endeavor launched multiple subsidiary businesses, implemented EOS performance management, developed a data-driven business intelligence culture, and led board-approved merger, acquisition, and joint-venture initiatives—including transaction evaluation, financial modeling, due diligence, governance approvals, and post-transaction integration.
Previously, Darin served as General Manager and CEO of Valley Telecommunications in South Dakota, where he delivered the cooperative’s strongest financial results in its 60-year history while modernizing services and expanding fiber networks. In that role, he also oversaw capital strategy, acquisition analysis, and integration planning to support long-term sustainability, operational scale, and service diversification. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President of Telecom Consulting at The LDL Group—advising telecom companies on strategic positioning and organizational capability—and held senior engineering, operations, and sales leadership roles with Siemens, giving him a rare blend of technical, commercial, and executive M&A insight.
Darin holds an MBA with Top Honors and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, along with a Telecommunications Electronics Technician Certificate. He previously served 13 years on the NISC Board of Directors and three years on the Calix Advisory Board, and has held numerous national industry and community leadership roles.
