Jim Dauby brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to the myTRA Consulting. With a strong background in telecommunications and broadband services, Jim has dedicated decades to driving industry advancements for the benefit of rural telecommunications providers. He is known for his influential role as the former President and CEO of Perry-Spencer Rural Telephone Cooperative, widely known as PSC, located in Saint Meinrad, Indiana.
Under Jim's guidance, PSC emerged as a leader in southwest and south-central Indiana, spearheading the deployment of cutting-edge fiber optic networks and offering high-speed broadband services across the region. His strategic vision and commitment to bridging the digital divide have contributed significantly to enhancing connectivity in rural communities.
Jim's leadership extends beyond his role at PSC. He has served as the chairperson for various industry boards on both national and statewide levels, including prominent organizations such as NTCA – the Rural Broadband Association, the Indiana Broadband and Technology Association (IBTA), the Indiana Rural Broadband Association (INRBA), and the Intelligent Fiber Network (IFN). Through these influential positions, Jim has championed the cause of rural telecommunications providers, advocating for improved broadband access and fostering collaboration among industry stakeholders.
Prior to his career in telecommunications and broadband services, Jim gained valuable experience at Coopers and Lybrand, a renowned national accounting and consulting firm. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Ramsey Financial, Inc., a prominent private investment firm. These diverse experiences equipped Jim with a comprehensive skill set, ranging from executive and organizational leadership to business development, strategy formulation, board relations, financial analysis, and accounting.
Jim's academic achievements are equally impressive. He graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University's School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). This educational foundation, coupled with his extensive industry experience, enables Jim to offer invaluable insights and guidance in areas such as executive leadership, organizational management, and financial strategy.
