Max Huffman has decades of experience within the telecommunications industry with a strong focus on improving broadband services across rural America. Max retired from INDATEL as its Chief Executive in December of 2016 and has remained active within the industry through consulting engagements.

With 26 years with United Telephone/Sprint, Max learned a lot about the industry. Max began his career as a lineman in Kansas and rose through the ranks of Sprint's Local Telecom Division, leading teams in the Network Design, Engineering, and Operations disciplines at both the regional and corporate levels.

As the Chief Executive and first employee of Missouri Network Alliance, a fiber-optics based broadband network services provider owned by 15 rural telecom companies, Max led this company for over 12 years of growth and merger into what is now Bluebird Network. Max has had a key role in the founding of three more broadband services companies.

Max is a farm and ranch boy from western Kansas who enjoys traveling in his motorhome with his wife Lil. Max and Lil are the parents of three children, as well as nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
